Certificate II Creative Industries (3D Animation Foundations) – CUA20220
The Certificate II concludes with a production unit where students will use the skills learnt in the course to work together and produce a short animated film. Students start by planning an animation with concept art and storyboards, modelling and animating their designs throughout the production process and finish by editing sound, music and special FX into the final product
Certificate II Applied Digital Technologies (Game Programming Foundations) – ICT20120
You will use the Unreal Engines node-based programming script called Blueprints to create games, while exploring key programming foundations such as algorithm implementation, control flow and basic physics while looking at a range of different game mechanics.
Certificate III Screen & Media (Computer Game Design) – CUA31020
This course includes a game development production where students will produce a unique playable game. Students start by designing a game, creating design documents and will require students to take on roles such as Producer, Level Designer, Character Designer and Tester. By the end of the module they will produce a fully playable unique 3D game.
Certificate II in Automotive Technology – AUR20720
This pre-apprenticeship program provides hand on skills and basic mechanical knowledge which will assist in obtaining employment and further career opportunities in the automotive industry. Aimed at Year 10 students, it is a two year VET in School (VETiS) program.
Certificate II in Cookery – SIT20421
This course is ideally suited for students that have an interest in obtaining basic cooking and preparation skills that are creative or have a passion for food. This is a hand’s on course with numerous experiences; industry experts, excursions, catering opportunities throughout the year providing some wonderful experiences. This is a two year VETiS program with a scored assessment towards the ATAR.
Certificate II in Hospitality (Food & Beverage) – SIT20316
This course involves all facets of food and beverage training including barista (coffee making), alcoholic (RSA included) and non-alcoholic beverage service, table/ setting service, function catering, customer service, OH&S, and many other related modules. This course is ideally suited for students who are either looking for certificates to assist with employment whilst studying tertiary education, or for students wishing to enter any other areas of the Hospitality & Tourism industry. It’s a practical course with front-of-house and back-of-house work experience. This is a two year program for students covering units 1 – 4 and a scored assessment going towards your ATAR score.
Certificate II in Building & Construction (Pre Apprenticeships) – 22614VIC
This course offers specialised training in basic building and construction. This is a great first step if wishing to enter the carpentry or building industry in the future aimed at year 10 students. This is a two year VETiS program with partial completion.
Certificate II in Salon Assistant – SHB20216
1st yr - This program provides students with the skills and knowledge at entry level standard to enhance their career prospects within the hairdressing industry. Students who complete this training will be able to work safely under routine supervision including preparing temporary colour, maintaining tools and equipment, teamwork and assisting colleagues providing multiple salon services.
Certificate III in Make-Up – SHB30215
2nd yr - This is a 1 year partial delivery program and reflects the role of individuals employed as make-up artists to design and apply make-up for a range of purposes and occasions across the beauty, fashion, media and entertainment industries. (partial completion only)
